Oh my God how did I not know about the Vista Cruiser. That vehicle is absolute shenanigans and now I want one

Everyone put their thoughts on Activision and the gun/tactical industry aside for a minute. My initial reaction to this is that it is pretty gross from the photographer.

It would be sus if the character model for Mara wasn’t a popular influencer/streamer/model/egirl/whatever we call people these days within the tactical/firearms industry (Alex Zedra)

I’m not even sure exactly where that underbody aero is in relation to the car but its dope af

The Tesla Cyber Truck’s Bulletproof windows failed to meet basic safety standards for automotive glass in a demonstration of a product which doesn’t exist, here’s why that’s great for consumers! - InsideEVs, probably

Given the general thoughts of the American consumer I don’t understand why anyone would fail to reimagine a former cool off-roady thing as a slightly modernized cool off-roady thing...this is also why I could never work for GM (zing)

I have never purchased wheel/tire coverage from a dealer but I will say that Tirerack’s warranty is pretty useful...but $40 a month is a silly number

I believe we have created some kind of internet sarcasm inception event. Well played.

Now that the federal government is good again we don’t need to worry about accountability for our tax dollars we just need to pay more of them.

I assume maintenance is nightmare on these no matter the cost and therefore it gets a Nice Price because I don’t care what anyone says the E39 M5 is THE sports sedan, forever and always.

The first gen RX7s don’t do anything for me either, but this is a good price for a nice example in case they stir something in someone else.

I’m actually 100% in for these wheels because they don’t look like a direct callback to an OEM Porsche wheel from the 90s or Fuchs. I see a lot of influence from high end 90s aftermarket wheels in both color scheme and design. It’s dope.

At least you got to go to Wegman’s

I think there are a lot of people who “aspire” to a Land Cruiser, but then when they find themselves actually capable of spending nearly $100 grand on a luxury SUV they find that the Land Cruiser is actually outclassed by basically everything else...and people who can just buy $100,000 cars for fun are instead

Everyone always argues that this size vehicle makes no sense and yet Jeep will sell a gazillion of these.

Compared to my Miata, the Fiesta was quite the daily driver upgrade: It has cupholders and a roof!

Given that Wranglers and 4Runners fly off the lots at $50,000 these days I don’t think that price killed the FJ, but the 4Runner being generally a much more practical thing killed the FJ. (maybe entirely blindspot related).

I agree, I may have given Toyota too much credit with “a lot” of the price. I think people who would buy a Land Cruiser are willing to pay some premium for the reliability and off road prowess that the truck is legendary for. However most of those people are not willing to pay *that much* of a premium for a vehicle

They move a ton of 4Runners and GXs in the US and I don’t see why they would change that. The 4Runner give Toyota tons of brand clout, and the GX lets them play in the $60-80.000 luxury SUV space where the 4Runner can’t go.

...like a 4 Runner?
