They would probably do better to have this be the ‘Lexus Land Cruiser’ line or something since the GX/LX already exist and the Lexus brand can more easily justify the higher price.

The design is fine, but I assume the material quality is lacking compared for the price. Obviously a lot of the LC price comes from mechanical durability but for nearly $100 grand I think people expect more than the same cheap plastic you find in Tacomas. (Also why the Lexus GX/LX probably cannibalize a ton of LC

I think the Land Cruiser has exceeded the price that most people, even those aware of the Land Cruisers various legendary capabilities, are willing to pay for mid 2000s Toyota interior materials.

If they really wanted to capture the spirit of British motoring, they needed to release a mirror image picture of the other side of the car so that we can confirm that only one headlight is working

A lot of the loss of appliance/small engine/similar types of repair careers is that the price of the associated products was reduced to the point where it is easier to just get a new one.

I’ve been working under the assumption that there were some mobility/medical conditions involved here.

I’m glad they found the guy but I agree. I have been assuming that he has some kind of medical condition and/or injury from sliding into the ditch which prevented him from trying to escape. Otherwise I have no idea why he wouldn’t try to open the other doors, break windows, whatever is necessary.

It’s possible that sliding into the ditch was the cause of this. Depending on the angle/depth of the ditch and the snow depth/consistency within, he definitely could have damaged the front/underside of the car and broken something.

Not gonna lie, I read “stating that she has gotten death threats over the ground beef video which is—let me be clear—a completely unacceptable, absurdly disproportionate reaction.”

Draining =/= rinsing

Points are further deducted for lights that blind oncoming drivers”

I can’t believe how badly BMW screwed up the new M3. Do they have any idea how many M3s they would sell if they made it exactly like the 2002 E46 including the hundreds of buttons and S54 but also it has to best faster than the F82 M3 and it has to cost $20,000.00.

I hate the wheels on this car so damn much. The mesh looking ones that come on the GT aren’t bad but the standard ones somehow make the entire car look cheap.

The fact that my dude thinks a 4 speed manual is acceptable indicates how unserious he is as a person.

My favorite internet car people are those that demand someone manufacturer a new vehicle exactly as it was 30 years ago for less than the price of the 30 year old vehicle adjusted for inflation.

Speaking of huge blind spots, the thing I find especially egregious is the new trucks are being designed to have huge front blind spots in the name of looking “tough”. I think the GM products are the worst about this as seen above.

The GX is a large vehicle. My GX doesn’t fit in my 1 car garage from the 80s.

My guess is that they need a top speed of highway speeds in order to get the proper vehicle designations and not be classified similar to a moped and not be allowed on limited access roads.

Yea what the hell? I just read about how the brand new, redesigned for 2020 Ariel Atom only has 4 more horsepower than a V6 Camry so why would I waste $100 grand on an Ariel Atom when its only 4 faster than a V6 Camry????

A buddy of mine has a 2016 Tacoma, I have a GX460. The 4.6 V8 in the GX is comically down on power compared to basically every other V8 currently in existence, but 300hp and 325lb/ft with a V8 torque curve is at least enough that it has never felt slow or gutless moving its own weight around. Both trucks get basically
