If the only issue is that additional sync cables for the phone you truly want cost a little more, that should not be enough to sway your purchase one way or another. I bought an iPhone 5 last year, and I bought one extra cable for my car. 10£ of extra cost after a year is nothing, and I'm sure you would have paid 10£…

So if you try to cancel the contract early (and you're obviously keeping the phone) then you should have to pay back the money that was "loaned" to you. Do you seriously disagree with that?
