You could buy a MacBook Pro in that case, couldn't you?

I can get a better computer from Lenovo for a grand, minus the SSD

How can you make that guarantee?

Yeah, I guess. Being able to view a flash site is a good demo for Android, as are "live wallpapers", but in the end, real life matters more than a demo.

I believe Wittyname was referring to TVs that used vacuum tubes rather than ICs (through the 1960's). When a vacuum tube blew out, you could go to Woolworth's and buy a new one, then just pop it in like a lightbulb.

It's interesting that nobody (that I can see) is talking about the fact that 2.3 currently has the largest install base.

At this point, the computer told me that I had to update iTunes before I could sync my device

I only disagree with it because I want to continue using my device using the same use case that I have all along... ...Yet Apple wants me to buy a new computer to do that.

I'd like to see your friend (with the original iPhone) attempt to get it serviced... :-/

Um... You have the same phone as everyone else that has the same phone as you. Just like everybody else.

They did, it's currently zero percent (the pie sliver is too small to see in the photo)

Okay, I'm totally not trying to be a smarts here, but most of these "advantages" mean little or nothing to most people (myself included)

What is this awesome flash site that you show your friends? I have a GSII and would love to embarrass all of my iPhone friends with a rad flash site.

How can you make an informed decision without information? You don't know that your shiny new phone will never have an official OS upgrade until it never does.

I can buy a new phone every six months on Android. You are at the mercy of Apple for everything.

Apple fanboys are willing to lay down another $1000 annually to get a new gadget which just happens to come with a new iOS.

Sure, whatever. Or maybe Dexter wanted to ask a community of like-minded individuals?

Who urinated in your wife's mouth last night? He was just asking a question, and it was already answered before you chose to jump in. Next time, just feel free to ignore the question if it bothers you that much. Some people...

Yeah, currently here are no options at all. I'd happily pay a premium (to a point) to use it. In the meantime, I had to trim my library to meet the requirements, and I actually haven't missed the stuff I removed, so maybe it's for the best?

It is, but it would be nice to still be able to use it if you have more than 25,000 songs. They could still limit what's available to 25,000, and let you (tediously) select what you want instead of being fully locked out because you have 25,001 songs in your library.
