Sorry, can't resist...

It depends on what you do with your tablet.

Except that the Xoom is long since discontinued, and therefore unsupported. Not sure about the Acer, because, I mean, who is?

Yeah, are we really comparing an iPad to a Kindle Fire or Nook Tablet? Considering that the iPad has nearly twice the screen real-estate, it's a pretty poor comparison. That and you can do one shit-ton more stuff with it without having to root.

Because if Google does not see these articles they do not know that there's anything to not do anything about? Or something?

Your 1st-Amendment argument is invalid. It's long since been established that yelling "fire" in a crowded theater is NOT protected speech. A bomb threat is no different than that.

Guys,

You seem to be a bit confused.

I don't believe that stars are awarded for calling out the people in charge here, but thanks for the nomination!

So you think the architect was lying? Strange assumption.

You had me at narwhals. Although that was at the end, so...

Sorry, can't help it...

And you know this how?

I agree that if you know what you're doing, $25 to install a video card is insane. But again, this is a service for people who don't know what they're doing. And if you have no idea how to get the job done yourself, $25 isn't very much money.

I guess, but you could buy a cheap laptop for about the same price, and also have a cheap laptop...

Ummm... Yes. Kind of. The graphic is right, but the "start" and "finish" are swapped. So, a little?

So, yeah. Like so many people have said below, what is the value of this product? OS X Disk Utility has an option to write zeros to each bit seven times over, and I would imagine that Windows offers a similar free utility. So who is this for? At nearly $300 it must do something else? Help me understand!!!

Wasn't there an article on the exact same subject last night, except that it was written in Haiku or something like that? Now it's gone. Is that a normal thing?

Sounds like this "experience" is a little too realistic. I'll be spending my money elsewhere.
