I thought it was great. But it also makes me think - given this season doesn’t look like it’s actually going to be about revenge, after all - that things are about to get very, very dark. Even compared to how dark it’s gotten before.

No, I complained about one specific thing.

I’m sorry a show you like has clear flaws. Try to get over that fact.

Holy Christ, I couldn’t stand Cisco and Kid Flash fawning over how Barry is *even faster* this season. The writers need to realize the audience doesn’t care about Barry “going faster” because it is never clear on screen.

This show just isn’t fun anymore. It feels like we’ve gone in circles since season two. And I can’t believe how terribly they missed the opportunity to reinvent Caitlin.

How many episodes before the Thinker thinks up a way to give himself super speed?

I can’t believe they wrote off Julian with that single scene of Kevin James opening his mail and then never mentioned him again.

I’m down for this show to be fun again. Not the show’s fault, but the world is such a shitshow right now, that the best thing they can do is be escapist fun. Last season, they were not.

This is easily the weirdest post I’ve ever made, but I thought Sean said they were trying out the new butthole SPREADERS.

I miss the AV Club disqus commenters. Was the 2nd best thing about AVclub.com. These folks are............

I don’t bring it up in my comments, but every time I navigate here it bothers me. Because this is garbage.

He should spend all that Amazon money buying AV Club so we can go back to being a website and not whatever the hell this is.

Said reality in general

Iain Glen is far too handsome, charming and talented. In the real world, Dany, with all her daddy issues would be on him like a rash.

Needs more Bronn.

I’m glad I’m back to pending, too. This system is really well made! Almost worth $100 million.

To be fair, The AV Club had absolutely no say in the matter. It was The Onion itself being purchased by Univision that sis everything in. Honestly (and no offense to AV Club), I’m pretty sure that Univision would never have purchased them to begin with — they were after The Onion itself, and Clickhole. They had no

“Happy birthday, Princess Carolyn.”

I’m very much in the “first 6 episodes are bad” camp, but I’m surprised at the relatively positive reception of this episode; I think it’s the worst of the 6 (and the show), with very little to redeem it. It sets up a half-baked backstory for one of the best characters on the show, and largely isn’t funny.

Has TJ Miller reviewed Kinja yet?
