Rogelio makes me waaaaaaaay happier than he likely should. I ADORE him.

i love rogelio so much.
Mive me some of that Rogelio. I’m obsessed with that man and his flawlessly-executed narcissism.
It was perfect. No hemming and hawing over how and when. No overly dramatic scene of going to get an abortion or watching her “suffer” through some cramps. Just an “oh, by the way” and that was that. It was all just perfectly realistic and matter of fact.
Could you keep spoilers out of the article’s title?
That was quite possibly the most low-key mention of an abortion I’ve ever seen on a screen. It’s such a good response to this stupid notion that all women who have abortions are scarred for life — as if guilt and suffering are the price you must pay for having done such a thing, even if you wanted or needed it.
There’s something so cold and wild and vast about the great lakes. It definitely feels haunted.
The creepiest part of your story is that it wasn’t some tweaker looking for quick cash or stuff to pawn. It was someone who CUT THE GD PHONE LINES, which suggests something far more sinister.
THIS. WAS. DELIGHTFUL.
Hate to say this, but would the cops even care? I feel like they’d be like, “So you’re telling me you had one bad date 2 years ago, and now you want us to investigate the guy to see if he’s a serial killer?”
No, they don’t. Cats’ Human brains aren’t big or complex enough to understand the complexities of human language. And even if they did understand, that doesn’t mean they’d obey.
Since this has come up, I just wanted to say that I do a lot of self-defence stuff/martial arts type stuff, with a focus on ‘keeping yourself safe’, and one thing I’ve learned is that if something feels off, it almost certainly is, and there’s probably a good reason for it, even if it isn’t immediately obvious.
When I get scared sometimes I cry. Yours is the first story to make me cry on here!
Uhhhhh there’s nothing okay about telling someone about your violent fetish after you’ve isolated them in your home. If he was really in touch with his kink in a healthy way, he would have known that.
As a Chicagoan I demand more Chicago stories (please)!!!
In 20 years your son might be on here’s telling stories about the friendly ghost who used to play with his toys.
I know I’m late to the party, but here is a truly scary story - you might say it was a matter of life and death.
That’s the trauma talking. You did the best thing. You came into contact with evil and survived.
I’ve only told this story to my closest friends. I haven’t even confided in my sister (for fear of the obvious shame). Please buckle in because this tale needs to be told in length.
Obviously the ghost thinks you need to do yourself up and go get laid. That’s an awesome wing-ghost!
