In five words: Willy Wonka pedophile gag, oral.
Overshadowed only by Family Guy to have much, much, much worse timing with its opening joke.
Well, if they can make a handful of good episodes each season like "Halloween of Horror" or "The Marge-Tian" (ironically Lisa-centric episodes, considering my other comment) last year, why can't they apply that effort to the entire season?
Maybe it's just me, but has it felt like this episode & the last season have been trying too hard to wedge Lisa into major parts of the plot whenever possible? And it's always something that involves the arts, new technology, et cetera, so she always overlaps with the "We're Still Relevant, Dammit!" vibes the show…
That would be awesome, but also seems like the type of limited edition licensed material that costs thirty to fifty dollars. And as I'm gonna need at least the full set of five, I say start small.
Dear Funko: Kucha Kopi & Friends Pop! figures. Get on that. And someone get on making the books a reality as well, I honestly want to read those stories. But make audio books as well, because we may need someone to do the voices right.
Too soon, man, too soon.
So on recent Steven Universe episodes, we've had Pearl in a tuxedo, Pearl in a waiter's outfit, & now Pearl in a leather jacket & jeans. DAMMIT WRITERS, STOP MAKING ME FEEL WEIRD IN MY PANTS.
They never said they didn't have religion, just that they don't have holidays like Halloween and Christmas. I'm just repeating what they mentioned.
Well, they can still do holiday episodes ("Beach City Horror Club" was one, for example), they just can't include…you know, the actual holidays.
Sorry, but according to the creators, Halloween and Christmas don't exist in the Steven Universe world.
No I mean "resting area" in that it's a place she rested on. I edited it after I realized what "resting place" could also be read as. =P
Seriously. The Guide to The Crystal Gems was good, but didn't really offer anything new & wasn't as elaborate as the tie-in books Adventure Time has had.
ALL I WANNA KNOW IS IF ROSE BOINKED A LION OR NOT.
Actually, between the bowtie & the bizarre architecture, I'd say Peridot is more like Pee-Wee Herman. And Lapis is Lydia Deetz.
Steven V Amethyst: Dawn of Bubble Spikes
You mean "Ice Bear's work here is done."
An even better touch: If you notice, the logo on the console says it's called the Dolphin, the original working name for the Gamecube. Apparently it's also made by "Sumy," though, and has characters modeled after ones from PlayStation fighters…
I admit I'm slightly confused, if only because I always assumed Greg owned the car wash. I mean, I guess he could've ended up gaining ownership of it in the intervening years, or got promoted to manager or such. Just kind of a "Huh." moment.
