Yeah, but then you have to factor in the alternate universe aspects, & that's where things get weird. I just think it's something more akin to Regular Show having a "retro universe" vibe as well.

Yeah, I definitely get the feeling that Lapis' role in the Gem Wars was a wee bit more than "civilian" based on some of the lines tonight. Also, this is apparently a parallel world where Lifetime Movies of the Week kick ass.
Given the other titles being Easter eggs as well, I'm not sure if that was intentional of not. Or maybe in the SU alt-universe, they made theatrical films out of individual Goosebumps books. Also, they were VHS tapes.
Also, my friend asked if given the magazine, was Lars masturbating?
Well, we've already seen Lars as a boy in a flashback during "Horror Club," so unless he got his change really early somehow, I doubt it.
Sadie's movie collection: Night Terrors (mentioned, but not seen), Hellhound (with the first two letters covered up by a price tag), It Came From Beneath The Sink!, Creeptasm III, Dream Ghost, The Rotten Forgotten, Enjoy the Violence, Critter Crematorium, Slice Town, Exposed Brunch, Caligula: The Documentary, First…
Wait, weren't the paramedics at the end helping the tour guide who fell earlier, thus proving that he didn't die?
No, you're thinking of a different electronica/dance act: https://youtu.be/VJm7IPrBmLY
"None of this bodes well for Insurgent, the final film in the series, coming next summer."
Damn you, Adventure Time!! I've finally moved on after Finn & Flame Princess broke up, but now you gotta tease be with Finn/Huntress Wizard shipping? You evil bastards…
SANDRA!!!!!
A kid who straight-up knows what heroin is at the age of 8. That's what jazz teaches her.
Not to mention the fact that she was genuinely shocked to discover that the homeless musician singing about the troubles she has actually has troubles. Yeah, you could've asked about that obvious fact, Lisa. Kinda facepalmed right there.
Christ, could the marketing team just not spring for a spot to show the trailer (the actual trailer) last night during SNL? You know, when they had three of the movie's damn cast members on the show? And another f*** teaser for a trailer? I'm trying to like this movie, but the marketing department isn't making it easy.
"The Humpty Dance" by Digital Underground.
"Just because it looks like Season 4 doesn't make it Season 4!"
Chalmers dressed up in a Zardoz costume? Yep, that's worthy of at least an A-minus right there. In all seriousness, save for those self-referential jokes that fell flat (seriously Simpsons, just stop with them), this was indeed a damn good episode, so nice job, guys.
Not to mention the parts with orange dance floor, which I think was a nod to "Larger Than Life."
Not to mention Tony! Toni! Tow-me! from the '90s-era phone book. That bumps it up to A-.
I thought the point was that Louise wasn't scared by staged horror such as horror movies, haunted houses & the like. Of course she's been scared when real horror situations arise.
