No mention of Jem and The Holograms or The Misfits? Supposedly the two biggest rock phenomenons/revolutions to the point of absurdity in their cartoon universe, both boiling down to bad, repetitive '80s pop in reality. Truly outrageous in absolutely no sense of the word.

I'm just going to say it: For me personally, this was the worst season of The Simpsons I've ever seen. God, over half the episodes this season have directly featured forced topical humor (of the "magazines at the dentist's" variety) as part of the main plots or B-plots. It would be one thing if it was good topical

Hey, don't overlook the genius of Who Dat Ninja, Sherlock Homie, & Black Cop/White Cop as well.

…And I just noticed all the seemingly random animals in the beginning are all references to the various animal helpers from the Donkey Kong Country games. Seriously, they really did their homework here!

Holy f***, they even put a Battletoads reference in there. These people are geek gods.

The fact that this show made Mega Man 2 references at the end there fills me with an infinite amount of glee.

Ehhh…Meh. As much as I love KOTH, the show's latter seasons pretty much turned Hank into a moralizing Gary Stu who felt even more uptight than usual, & they also seemingly dumbed down every other supporting character to compensate.

Don't forget "Did It Once In A Dream" (I think) for Donna, followed by a quick & lovely little wink from her.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned that Dr. Yap was first seen (in drawing form) in "Art Crawl" as well, complete with Tina's crush on him.

Well, logically, there's nothing saying that Nathan has to only review bad games for MWOF. I'd love to see him to an article about Grim Fandango, the second-greatest game of all time that was both the high point & low point of the graphic adventure genre.

Hey, anyone else notice the huge sandwich on the table in 2000 Ted's flash-forward to 2003? I never tire of that, one of the show's best running gags, IMO. Love how Ted's willing to tell his kids about Barney's sexcapades (plus the invention of back-boobs), but feels he needs to censor the weed.

No, I believe "Black Rain" was a Superunknown outtake that was repolished & re-released for the Greatest Hits album.

The worst bit of the Inception callbacks was the shot of Frink & Wiggum fighting in slow-mo. Completely pointless in every way. Was basically just the writers going "See this? It's kinda like those fight scenes from Inception! Because in case you couldn't tell, this is an Inception parody! That was a thing! We saw
