Sometimes people say stupid things when they feel like they know a person. Two guys where I work go back and forth calling eachother “pinche gringo” and “damn mexican”. I think you can guess the ancestry of each. They actually really like eachother believe it or not. Honestly I don’t care for stuff like that, as such

To play devil’s advocate:
They are both comedians, and he could have been trying to make a purposefully offensive statement as part of a joke.(e.g. “The Aristocrats” and similar) Offensiveness is determined by the listener, but he might have felt the line was pushed back because she was another comedian.
If she was too

I think what he said was pretty fair. “I don’t remember” seemed like an honest statement especially when he followed it up with “I am not calling you a liar.”

ok look. i take your points. by MY whole point was that i don’t believe they’re all 100% completely bad. just like all liberals aren’t 100% completely good (which is i think one of the cruxes of this article).

i disagree. if we don’t talk and dialogue and fight, then what the fuck are we doing? infighting? screaming into an echo chamber? isolating ourselves from more people who might grow and change?

no. they’re not. they’re not racist. they’re not hateful. they may be slightly ass backwards christians, but they’re not straight up bigots.

I think 90% is a pretty safe estimate. With no power grid how many people do you know that could provide food / shelter / water to themselves for over a year with no electricity anywhere in the country.

Bingo. As a kid I remember the air raid sirens going off in my neighborhood ever Tuesday as a test. I haven’t heard any in years. If we did have some sort of attack do most Americans know where the nearest public shelter is? North Koreans know that it’s the subway for starters.

well they’re all calling clinton supporters bad people.

i refuse to call my grandparents bad people.

FFS You don’t vote for people. You vote for policies, ideas and progress. What the titty-fucking Christ is wrong with everyone?

sure. and not every drumpfster is a bad person.

It’s almost as if there isn’t any universal truth when it comes to these things. The sooner you accept that the better off you’ll be.

i’ve learned to accept that just because someone has political views that i agree with doesn’t mean they’re a good person. i still want them to vote for and be vocal about the causes i believe in, but if they’re shit, they should also be called out, shamed for, and face consequences.

Or monuments. Everyone knows you can only learn stuff from monuments, and there isn’t a single monument to the holocaust anywhere in this country, and definitely not in any European countries.

Nope, Jew-hating is a perennial

You’re wrong about Darwinism.

I remember back in 2002 the film Death to Smoochy had a scene where the titular mascot character Smoochy was deceived into talking at a Neo Nazi rally. It was the first time in my lifetime that I found out a legacy existed of the Nazis.

It was just so long ago. It’s not like we have witnesses, or written records, or pictures, or any real concrete evidence! We’re just asking questions!

At least 1000 people voted that less than a million died....
