Right, in which case, Pizza Hut should be required to provide evidence from the police department or municipality proving that this area is unsafe enough to reasonably ban deliveries. Then, you are putting the burden on the municipality and police department to provide enough services to the area to make it safe for

If a pizza delivery company wants to deny service to any neighborhood, they should be required to produce evidence from the municipality proving that the area in question is dangerous enough to prevent a reasonable person from engaging in e-commerce there. This puts the burden on the municipality and police

Well, perhaps Spike Lee is making a statement about a woman who is misidentifying herself. Obviously, she’s simply a young woman who likes to have various lovers- which has absolutely nothing to do with polyamory, or swinging, or any marginalized lifestyle.

Federal prison for murderers is not exactly summer camp; in some cases, it’s worse than a state penitentiary, depending on where you are.

Yeah, this conviction really doesn’t surprise me- everyone including conservatives like Ben Shapiro have said that the Walter Scott case is a prime example of murder by police.

I don’t think Spike Lee is selling polyamory; rather, I think Spike Lee is portray a woman who is single and doesn’t currently want to be monogamous. The two are not the same.

I think many people often confuse polyamory with swinging, and polyamory and swinging from simply being single and non-monogamous. The three are as as distinctly different from one another as they are from traditional marriage.

Lena Dunham reminds me of the hipster with the chin curtain beard working at the craft brewery complaining that the neighborhood is being gentrified by hipsters.

I wonder if the double standard is more political- and, perhaps ageist- than racial in this case.

I’m 50, and there’s no doubt in my mind that at some point in the 80's or 90's, I said or did something, in some bar, or party, or trip to Mexico or Europe, or wherever, that some woman found to be inappropriate. The fact that I don’t remember doing any of these things doesn’t really matter. If I were approached

I understand that. But, part of me feels sympathy for those who probably bottle up their feelings for years and then momentarily lose their shit and go ballistic when the abuse they receive reaches their limit.

Hey- I’m honest about my limitations.

Perhaps I’d be a terrible judge, because a big part of me feels really sorry for this kid and would like him to get 10 years probation and no jail time.

Our county jail/prison system is like the rotting foundation underneath the old house that we ignore for years in the hope that the support beams and posts will somehow repair themselves and the house will not sink.

Is someone who paints watercolors and home but doesn’t sell them an artist?

I think it’s human nature, not US culture. I know for a fact this type of behavior is rampant all over Latin America, and I’ll bet the Chinese workplace isn’t exactly a paragon of third wave feminism.

Because Trump (and Roy Moore) has a completely different political, economic and demographic constituency/support base.

You sound like you’re doing just fine; no reason to change.

Yeah, the whole “keep Austin weird” thing- I’ve never really gotten that one. Where on Earth is the “weird”?

Well, to be fair, we don’t know the age of the OP. He/she could be 19.
