There is a huge commercial Bison farm in south central Pa, near the Maryland border, and smaller farms along the Rte 83 interstate. The large farm in Pa raises all their Bison for a nationwide grocery store chain.

I’ve seen in on menus but it’s pretty hard to find. I’ve had to two different occasions at a Pub in Watkins Glen, NY. But I’ve some steaks in my freezer and burger. I get it locally from the meat shop.

Very beef like in color and texture. Flavor is mild, similar in some ways to beef, but with a more intense flavor. Many customers mentioned having camel overseas, but it was tough due to it being an old animal slaughtered for food. The store sold only farm raised product, very young animals, Meat was tender and very

We had a regular customer from NJ whose dog couldn’t eat traditional dog food. The owner would make regular trips and purchase 30-40 pounds of ground Kangaroo to feed her dog. Very expensive dog food.

Germany has been the largest consumer of Kangaroo meat for years, very easy to find on menus there. US availability is often hampered by customs inspections and certifications.

Older animals taken in the wild can be very tough, just like more common game animals. Farm raised Kangaroo are harvested much younger and is very tender when cooked properly. Rare/Med-Rare is the way to go. (the chicken joke is SO old)

As a long time cheese monger, I’m disappointed by the lack of soft creamy goat cheeses on this list. These certainly aren’t bad cheeses, it just limited by it’s design from having so many stellar cheeses that are out there in the world.

Worked in a specialty meat store for almost 10 years. Kangaroo burgers were there No. 1 selling burger, camel burgers a close second. All of the products were commercially farm raised, the roo and camel coming from Australia.

Bedroom to the bathroom at 3am with a hangover.

Back in 2012, when I still owned a cheese shop, a mother stopped to see us with her 11 year old son’s Christmas list. His list finishes with two of our best selling cheeses from the USA: Midnight Moon and Satori Montamore. I cherish this list, such a great young man.

Been on both sides of this painful experience. Being a good listener is important, and as mentioned, doesn’t mean you have to talk at all. Being a good hugger helps too.

I agree. Well made and well cared for sunglasses are worth the price for the quality. I bought two pair of Corning’s Serengeti Drivers when they first came on the market back in the 70s. I still have both and continue to wear them to this day. Nothing on the market comes close to the quality of these sunglasses.

Adding chopped peanuts or Marcona almonds transforms it into something highly addictive.

My serving choice, but I’m an evil person.

That muffin isn’t toasted. Looks like it was merely warmed in the toasted. If you can bend it, it ain’t toasted. This is closer to what toasted should look like. The proper toasted muffing makes the sandwich.

good explanation

Do that make a size that fits standard wine bottle? (asking for a friend)
