His money, his choices. We have all thought of that “what if” build. This happened to be his. I absolutely respect his reasons and decisions. Yes, the PDK is faster, but the guy just wants that satisfaction of depressing the clutch, shifting into gear, and getting back on the loud peddle. It’s as brutallic and archaic

My family had a false grid of Thunderbirds in the late 80's to the mid 90's. My mom had an 1988 (sweet maroon interior), dad had a ‘91 (leather) uncle had a ‘92 (SC) and aunt had a ‘94 (V8). I took my drivers test in my moms ‘88, and also did my first burn out in that car as well- not during the drivers test. I also

I had the opportunity to buy a mint Daihatsu Charade a few years back and didn’t because I couldn’t fathom putting miles on it. Same situation though, super low miles and had all the extras that came with the delivery of the car. It belonged in a museum, preferably the Lane Motor museum.

California...... drops mic and leaves podium.

What an awesome experience this must have been. Let’s say this really does take off in the future, you can say that you’ve driven a Formula E car. I like all of the technology that this series uses, and need to make a better effort to watch the races as they happen. I think I can put myself into the group that

The R33 just does it for me. Like many my first exposure was the first Gran Turismo, and the R33 was the absolute center piece of my collection I amassed. Living in SoCal all my life I had made friends with a group of like minded car enthusiasts after graduation high school.

Bears kill more Americans and Canadians a year than all disease and car accidents combined. They got away lucky.

I want an oil painting of the Wienermobile going down the Corkscrew.

Two modes of transport I need to ride in before I die. 1.) A Blimp. Any blimp/airship will do. 2.) The Oscar Meyer Wiener Mobile. It’s just awesome.

Honestly, and I have been thinking about this a lot lately, there is such a small market of people that would own imported JDM pleasure fruit. I know there are a lot of people out there (lawmakers, the general public) who think that these unsafe, unclean cars have no right to be here. Let’s be serious, in comparison

Standing ovation to LS240 for that speech that was on the same level of Bill Pulman’s in the first Independance Day. I’m off to hug the Charade.

I had a friend in high school who had a 944. Soon after he got it we were on our way to the local auto swap meet to find parts for my Beetle when he decided that the main road to the swap meet was the BEST time to show me how fast his 944 was. Coming from driving a Beetle, this thing was a rocket ship! We were going

Looks like my kinda show right there!

Well, seems like that’s out of the question then. Thanks for the info!

I love Porsche like every other auto enthusiast. However, I’m rooting for Toyota to be struck by lady-luck and cross the finish line first after 24 grueling hours.

As much as I love the fact that the Type R is here, I’d still take an STi. It hits all the boxes for me.

It really comes down to luck when the top cars are so close in speed. As was the case last year, luck was not with Toyota. A lot can happen in 24 hours. I’m hoping for a Toyota win (because Daihatsu), but will miss Mazda using the fact that they won the race in 1991 will disappear from all of their marketing. In

I would do as follows after reading the review: Exhaust, only stipulation, it was to be loud. Tires, because daily drivers of this caliber need to be on 200 tread wear tires. Sway bars, see picture in the article for reference. Finally, I would get Lamin-X to set my Type R up with yellow fog lamp films, because race

That would be great to see. If it really comes to be, then I would have no excuse to get myself to that race.

They really should keep giving it a shot. Nissan came close to winning the 24 a few times in the late 80's if I recall. It’s sad that the car was one and done. Maybe the Renault partnership/ownership has something to do with it?
