I’m not sure what your point is here. If some other company donates to foreign politicians that are actively working to undermine democracy, the peaceful transition of power, and good governance in their home nations, then those companies, American or not, can also get fucked.

You could very easily grease both wheels - the democrats and the republicans without having to donate to those politicians that directly contributed to the Jan. 6th attach on Congress, and have actively worked to undermine our democracy.

What kind of shitty wheels are these that still require greasing? Have they not heard of sealed bearings?

I believe it is entirely appropriate to judge members of Congress on that single issue. Sedition is pretty straightforward.

As a foreign company doing business in the US, they know that extra scrutiny is warranted. They placed their bets; as Americans, we get to spin the wheel.

Honestly, I’m not surprised at all. Not one bit. Just look at the states where Toyota’s US manufacturing facilities are:

Mississippi. Texas. West Virginia. Tennessee. Kentucky. Missouri. Alabama.

Yes, and yes.

No no, it’s entirely appropriate to judge an elected member of Congress solely on the basis of whether or not they choose to uphold democratic principles.

Hate the players playing the game.

But in this case, these same players are writing the rules of the game, no?

The spoiler helps the hunchback look a lot.

Most Honda buyers aren’t buying based on what they can build on the configurator.

Oh my Gosh I’m in love with that spoiler

No fix for that “wanted to be a Saab 900, but was afraid to go all the way” hood design?

Too bad there isn’t something to help with that ugly hood seam.

Those wheels are yuck. What would look even better on the new civic hatch is a Si badge. But from what I've been reading the Si is gonna be sedan only.

Those guards are popular in Asia and plenty of non-smokers have them. I suppose they let you keep your windows open a crack in the summer without fear of it raining inside the car. If you’re up on the 8th floor and a rainstorm hits on a hot summer afternoon you’re never getting to your car in time to close the windows.

For us desert dwellers who get so excited the three times a year it rains we have to lower the windows and take in the cool, crisp air and its wonderful scent.

The late 90s/early 00s Hondas are pretty tough to beat when it comes to aging well. The RSX has aged brilliantly and looks like it could be a much newer car with a set of (less period-looking) wheels. The Prelude was also a standout, and the S2000 looks downright modern even today.

I like everything but the wheels. The ones from the launch photos are 1,000,000% better.
