You know what’s even more amazing than a super-modded Supra? A bone stock Supra. I don’t think I have actually seen one since the mid 90s. My mom’s co-worker had a Supra, and I thought it was the coolest car ever.
Crass language aside, “twat jockies” doesn’t actually seem like an insult.
care to elaborate further? they’re pretty bro-ish but they don’t seem like bad dudes.
The race was on an airstrip and the article didnt mention street racing once. The video posted wasnt even the same car...and was mostly dragstrip footage. What are you talking about?
I’d imagine it’ll still be based off the Civic like the ILX is/was.
People who say that probably haven’t been in an Acura in the last few years.
The 86 has become a bit of a cheap “halo” car for Toyota and the production costs are also spread across Subaru. Plus, the CEO Akio Toyoda wants to keep making enthusiast stuff even though it moves small volumes. That’s why we have the Lexus LC, RC, Yaris GR etc. So, I could see some plausibility to the rumour.
However,…
hmm could be interesting now that post-2015 Acura has stopped making the worst looking cars on the road. One could hope for a manual or a dct in the thing but we probably wont be that lucky
I think the “new compact sedan” is supposed to kill the ILX. Also, notice the Type R version. Could be interesting, even if its not a coupe.
You could say the same thing about a Prius, whereas the CT200h passes as a just fine entry level Lexus.
I can read what the ticket says, and I’m not discounting that, but GM lots - like most at other Detroit 3 OEMs - are typically broken into “GM” and “competitive” lots.
Drive an American car that isn’t a GM brand, and park it in a “GM lot?” That’s a paddlin’.
I did *really* want to try parking a NV200 next to a City…
The whole domestic vs foreign culture is stupid as hell (least of all because some of the most “domestic” cars are made by foreign brands and have been for some time), and that us-vs-them culture is one reason GM continued to make uncompetitive cars for so long.
So what’s the penalty here? The privilege to wipe your ass with this “ticket” instead of the [presumably] 0.5 ply toilet paper GM supplies in the bathroom?
The best part is, that Tesla is made in ‘Murica. A good portion of the domestic cars in the lot are made in Mexico and Canada.
Does that foreign lot include the Blazer, Equinox, Trax, Terrain, and some of the Sierra/Silverados?
It's a Scottish Earldom. So it's pronounced "MCWisgibwobbiwobbi"
Since this is England it’s spelled ‘Dumbarton’ but pronounced ‘Wisgibwobbiwobbi’
