Sure but we cannot ignore opportunities to make improvement in fighting global warming. Even small ones are worthwhile and will add up in the long run. Electric cars are really shaping up to be an easy change too that will not require drastic changes to the way we live now.

Yes, it is. It is too much for a truck., for any truck, and 70K is plain stupid. The fact that a lot of average cars (ie not luxury cars) have reached this same ~30K price level is also unacceptable. I don’t buy that safety requirements and technology are solely to blame for the rise in prices either.

I was at a launch party for a new Triumph just a couple weeks ago and was doing rider days with the local Ducati dealer last summer. Age wise, yeah, the only people my age are often the ones working those events. We are riding though. We are just sticking to cheaper and used.

Skewed, totally possible. However, I think that there are more riders than you realize. They are just on small cc machines that escape registration or look like ones that do and abuse that (scooters and grom like things).
