This Beetle is a 73’ and could have had stock disc brakes. The Ghia did and so did the standard Beetle in the US. In other parts of the world enen the Super Beetle got factory disc brakes.

Canbus is awesome and f*n evil at times. Like when it goes somewhere it shouldn’t. But why, oh why is it connected the brakes? What was wrong with ABS being a separate system that only sent out error codes?
