rotors are designed to withstand bird strikes and most birds that pose risk to aircraft are way heavier than a fucking drone.

Just hit the damn thing out of the sky, this is a ridiculous excuse. It’s not a fucking major aircraft.
You’d think a tanker plane would just plow right through a drone, even a larger drone. Kind of like a big rig vs. an rc car.
I’d like to think if I was flying the helicopter trying to put out a raging inferno, I’d ignore the calls “there’s a drone flying around underneath you so let the fires burn putting lives at risk and come back home.”
If there was a bird strike (of any size) that would ground the helicopter. Even if it was still flying after the strike. This would still force the heicopter to be grounded for safety reasons afterwards no matter what.
Teacher’s pension fund? It is gone! My district does not even offer new teachers any benefits anymore
I think a lot of what is said about millennials confuses hipster bs and people who just happen to be in this age range. The only unifying struggle I can see from point of view is even with a real degree (not art) jobs and well paying jobs are hard to find making money an issue. But money is not everything; It just…
Exactly, a quick bore to punch out 2.5L would hopefully do this. I think laziness has prevented any real changes to the BRZ/FRS/GT86
Do want and a great price
You can’t get a trashed S2000 for under $10K. I love the S2000 but the prices are just nuts
Saying it was low was not a negative. It was actual surprise and of course it will still go up in price. I truly think that this Super should make the list
WOW that price is low for a 1303/Super convertible. 78/79 models are going for $10k plus. This is what people are often asking just for the empty shell and a stripped top mechinism. The resto looks good too. I would have liked to see pictures of the front frame head, battery tray and the underside of the pan. The top…
This is amazing inside and out. I am left wondering just how the new rapter front end would look on a Bronco. I think it would look great.
Being proactive in one’s own safety is a trait that I think defines long term riders. Motorcycles or Bicycles. My horn, lights and sometimes feet and fists have all been used to protect and notify other motorists of my exisitance. And used in that order. If I don’t trust what another motorist is doing and I can move I…
No Doug, it is not California. The worst is New Mexico. My proof is this, we have only 2 lanes each way on every road and we always pass on the right.
We already do that now. Come to NM and drive I25 or I40
For the area of the country he is from the 90’s and older american cars that are on the road still have been run ragged. If there is a part of the country that will force the whole of the US to do full on safety inspections like the Europe or Austrilla it will be the Southwest states.
My 90’s 1.8 gets 40mpg US doing 80mph. It loves going 90 too and still smooth as glass. But then it is a Honda.
When you live 200+ miles from the next town in the middle of nowhere gas mileage is not important. Where as the difference of being in the car 3hr or only 2hr is important. I think it takes living here to truly understand the meaning of nowhere.
Did the same thing this spring but using the ones from the Ray Bradbury Theater for The Velt and A Sound of Thunder.
