Such a versatile machine.
Here's to 25 more!
25 years old, still on the third generation...
Mine turned 20 last month. I've had it for 12 fun years.
I once cut a 91 apart with a sawzall in my driveway so I could use the parts in my Lotus 7 replica build. I admit the cars are well put together. (but still fit nicely in the bed of a small pickup once disassembled) The Miata parts go even faster after you remove 1000lbs from them.
Would have been a great opportunity to reveal the new car. But no...
Happy birthday, little Miata! Words can't describe how grateful I am for your creation.
By March of 2013, there was so much Miata talk on Jalopnik. This coincided with the timing of me being bitten by the car bug again after driving multiple appliance cars for years due to practical reasons. Ahhhh memories:
Just bought my first Miata this weekend, a white 2000 5-spd with a hard top. Soft top was bad, so I spent all day Sunday replacing it.
Q: What's the difference between a stock Supra and a 600 horsepower Supra?
Wait.
This is the first thing that came to mind. An obvious answer perhaps, but it really does horrify me.
I'm with you, the first 2-3 reviews were ok, but then it started to annoy the shit out of me.
The K900 ad was a clusterfuck.
It is interesting that no one is really complaining that the K900 ad failed to mention the 60k price either. I think the showdown in the lease market between the K900 and the Ghibli is going to be an interesting one.
You should see their older ones
Sounds like Honda, looks like Honda...
