You're right, a post built off of click-bait is much better journalism.

The only reason people give a crap about this car is because it has a prancing horse on the front and because it won its races in the early '60s, before the World Got Scary and when the radio played the songs you still listen to on your Golden Oldies station that plays Van Halen now what's going on with that?
Exactly. The 911 is already a GT at this point.
And just like that, it was done. Jalopnik rocks.
But look at the nature of the build. The seller's skill is proven by his handiwork.
NP. Lotus heritage under the hood, clean, spartan interior, and a new bumper to replace this ugly thing. I would have kept the pop-ups though.
I doubt it. Someone with enough mechanical aptitude for a frame-off restomod can probably keep this car together.
He doesn't know what? :)
meh.
...which results in a big car that looks silly with small wheels, hence 20" wheels, standard. Which affects handling, necessitates bigger brakes, etc. etc. You're left with a complicated, heavy car that could be 500lbs lighter and so much cooler and rewarding to drive.

Needs flowtie.
Avalon.

Theory: Porsche is beefing up the Boxman's power output so it doesn't look pathetic when next-gen base 911s have close to 500 horsepower.
Would you buy a GT3RSR or Corvette C6.R with issues for $32k, knowing that with some time and inve$tment you could sell it for triple the amount? A Cobra Daytona for $4,500 in 1965 is an excellent deal.
Yeah, most Honda fanboys aren't the best to deal with online. Swap and build potential is even at best though. H22s can make 300+ all-motor and maintain street drivability, and the aftermarket is enormous.
"A small black hole would suck up the entire universe so we know it's not that." Simple enough.
