@Xer0Ph0kus: Yep I was not sure if that was common knowledge or not but that was why I spoke of the matter in a past tense.

@mike_311: They actually had a fairly good rationale behind that decision. Basically they blocked all web mail providers as a measure to help prevent people from inadvertently downloading viruses onto DoD computers... for the most part they could care less about time wasting websites they are generally more concerned

Just want to throw this out there, but just because it is running this style of scoop does not automatically mean it has no air filter. My friend has the same one on his Camaro and it most definately does have a filter inside the scoop. Not saying for a fact this rocket surgeon actually installed the filter but
