Maybe yours was a fluke? I've had hundreds of K-cups and they tasted fine to me. I've also had expensive coffees from several sources (cappuccino machines, french presses, pots, dozens of varied specialty coffee shops) and their quality varied from great to awful. None of them ever tasted like plastic.

I'm going to have to disagree. I love my K-cups! Besides, I don't judge the value of my coffee by the weight of the ground beans, but by the price per cup, which comes to anywehre from 0.40-0.70¢ a cup. Cheaper than going to Timmy's or Starbucks! And I do use the use-your-own re-usable cup too.
