With the recent string of NP/ND, Rob has to be trolling, right?

I agree. I think the Marauder is a cool car, especially within the tried and true panther Fords, and wouldn’t mind one. That said, they do have their strong following that pushes the price beyond what I would ever be willing to pay. But this seems right in line with the market and certainly appears to be in great…
I completely agree and would be upset if it was my car. My comment was more that because the yoke is a stupid idea, it was more prone to accidents that would scuff the wheel.
I did not draw that type of conclusion. I view it more as someone who is a car guy, which likes his long-time owned old American car, seeing that the future of cars as EVs and is also excited for it.
A potential logical conclusion I could think of was the steering wheel was chipping after coming into contact with a watch band/bracelet. But that’s because the Yoke is probably harder to use in the first place.
The lack of lights for the temperature capacitive “buttons” and the sensitivity of the steering wheel’s “buttons” really diminishes what would otherwise be a good car. Far too many complaints refer to actions occurring by accident, including changing items when you’re turning the steering wheel or hitting the…
As a general note, a 2wd car with snow tires will do better than an awd car with all seasons in the snow, just because the tires themselves offer better grip in those conditions. That said, the type of car also matters. I have a scat pack charger, and, probably like your mustang, getting the tires to break loose is…
You should do some research on the pricing of normal cars - they are absolutely marking up everything. Truecar around me lists an exceptional price for a Civic if it’s only a few percent over MSRP. I agree that we should care less with higher end cars, but it’s trickling down everywhere. The true price of a car has…
The lead photo and the rest of the pictures are different cars (or at least have different equipment shown).
I agree as well, but based on the comments made by the employee, it seems like they ended up with what they have just because was not enough money to make the cars as well tailored to their demographics as VWAG (which has a lot more money). That car segment, while popular, does not have the same level of profits to…
I agree with the “on paper” element completely - the only real issue I see with the livability of the car is the haptic touch controls that seem to be a persistent source of frustration for all new VWs (including the ID4 but also past favorites like the GTI).
My experience with terrible commutes is my dad’s former commute from Yucaipa to Torrance and an ex girlfriends father which was Thousand Oaks to downtown Los Angeles. Some of these 100+ mile commutes on So. Cal freeways would simply not be worth it. My dad’s heath transformed almost instantly when he dropped his long…
I’d much rather spend the ~$3,000 extra for that clean one than this NP/ND van that has been butchered.
Agreed.
The sound. Other engines can certainly meet the performance requirements, but there is a certain level of visceral feel and drama with the v8 that can’t be replicated.
Given how Daimler sucked quite a bit of life out of Chrysler, I always believed that urban legend was plausible.
At its current age, I wouldn’t be worried about the miles as long as rust is not a problem. You would want to spend a weekend(s) going through fluids, gaskets, bushings, etc, to ensure everything is in good order, but old Jeeps and the 4.0 are easy to work on. With its age (and the fact it is a Jeep), you would want…
Agreed. I think it looks better than the current Colorado design (which looked better pre-facelift) but ultimately still too busy. Perhaps the GMC twin will correct that.
This whole car could be shown on a future Donut Media video of knock off parts.
I’ve always liked how the Opel GT looked, but I honestly cannot remember if I have ever seen one driving in the wild. I know there are ones that do run (auto writer/editor Elana Scherr has one that does), but I have yet to see one myself.
