A “Wilderness” edition of the WRX would be pretty cool though.

I think it’s worth a premium, but not sure how much without more information. That said, I was considering a Civic SI last year, but with the bs Honda dealers were doing with their limited supply of all Civics, I was actually able to get real quotes for the Integra 6 speed at/around the same price (5-10K adm for the…
To Dodge’s credit, they are fun and whimsical cars that do their job pretty well. I had a scat pack Charger for a bit because I wanted a muscle car, which despite the different cars I have owned was one category that was missing, and needed a comfortable family car to carry two kids. It was a great blend, with the gas…
These trends have spread to even moderately excitable cars, and is just absolutely annoying.
To be fair, the hatch in the Integra is bigger than the CTR. If it has the ELS speakers, that will also be a decent nicety over the Civic.
I don’t mind the slantnose, but I still much prefer the standard (non sugarscoop) headlights for the early and G-series 911s.
I disagree that the 914 was a copy-paste of a British roadster.
There are times I see the 968 and think they look alright, and other times they look off. I agree though, the 944 looks way better especially with the Turbo/944S front bumper.
Clearly, more people need to take their ‘car for sale’ pictures out of the window of a 90s Chevy truck.
The platform can certainly generate great power and fast acceleration times. I’m not sure how good the cornering is for autocross, and if the person is looking to be competitive (and staying in a stock class) or just to have fun.
Yesterday’s NP/ND Pinto should have been a recommendation...
This thing does look pretty good, but too much coin for a Pinto. Someone might pay that much, but it’s hard to think of these things commanding that type of money.
The Z4's limitation is simply that luxury coupes do not sell. The Supra gives a more sports car vibe, and with the lower MSRP, just has a stronger attraction. It’s similar to the 2 series as well. The Z4 just happens to be in the market segment that is shrinking faster, even if it is a good car.
I disagree that a subwoofer setup is an automatic ND, but it’s something that I view as a potential area of concern. That said, I imagine that the almost 40-year-old soundsystem wasn’t great sounding. In reviewing the setup, it seems to be a contained amp and sub package (and not a particularly high powered one at…
We plug in ours because the electricity cost for us is cheaper than gas. But if you forget one night, you’re still okay the next day. Plug in hybrids are certainly a compromised solution, but works well for our case.
The car is old enough that mileage reporting isn’t even needed for the title.
It’s probably a way to provide transit service for the high desert to the main line into LA, rather than building a second rail line.
Exactly... the Legacy GTs were always the more subtle WRX with a (comparatively) nicer and roomier interior, a lower insurance premium, and were less likely to have been beat to hell.
The headgaskets are an issue for the N/A motors, not the turbo ones.
I’m a bit late to the post, but the EVO seat and the exposed shifter are really the only two mods I take issue with. Most of the parts appear to be high quality, including the very nice SSR type C wheels. I agree that the price is too high for what it is, and I am always leery of other people’s projects (modifications…
