Absolutely agree. This is a decent v8 powered American boat that is a more unique and a cheaper entry than the ubiquitous Chevelle, etc, but still the ugliest in this full size class. Though 72 was when the full size design really started to look odd - the Impala was just slightly more attractive than the Ford, but the

While that is true, no one is going to cross shop a modern Civic to this and so those numbers are a bit irrelevant. If this were to be a daily driver, all of the things that made this era of cars bad would certainly be even worse compared to cars today, but those faults are going to be tolerable for those that want a

I think the issue with #2 and #3 is your budget needs to be realistic with where the market is. Case in point, I was looking at the new Civic SI for a daily driver, I was looking for a car with a lower cost of ownership, including fuel and insurance, and using the high residual value of my current car to essentially re

In the event of an incident and subsequent investigation, it’s better to be on the more conservative side. Overburdening the plane can/has led to fatal accidents.

To be fair, the Plymouth would be quite a bit more than this. That said, the dealers argument that it’s priced high now because it will eventually rise in the market is laughable.

I live in a semi-urban area of California, where walking to school is not feasible. Every morning and afternoon the traffic snarls up as parents do the drop off/pickup, and with younger kids, I am dreading when they are going to school and I have to deal with that mess. Things would be more effective with busses (like

I loved those old busses. Sounded great as a kid, most were stickshift so we found it fun to have that motion, and they were bouncy. As a kid, we thought they were rad.

*2nd gen effort

Neighborhood cameras on bad driving is always fun to watch. One of my favorites is about a person who has no idea how to drive in their Lexus NX.

This seems like a NP* in Arizona, but ND beyond that. That said, this is listed on Craigslist, so it’s not like they were expecting someone out of state anyways.

The infotainment of the MK7.5 would be much better to live with than the MK8. And, yes, that green was fantastic on the MK7.5.

Exactly. This concept looks fantastic, but nothing they build will be close to this... but we can hope.

The Toyota brand has enough of a profit margin to justify a 2 door coupe, and even then, still has to partner with other brands to make those cars. The reality is simply that 2 door coups don’t sell well anymore, and Acura does not have the budget to make a car that they know is going to lose money. Honda has phased

I feel like with LED technology, you could really integrate some of those rocket ship aesthetics in modern cars and look fabulous doing so.

Definitely a good touch. Luckily, some of the new display screens have good black levels, reduced view options for the digital cluster, and the ability to turn off screens entirely. That said, not everyone offers that and there is just so much real estate given to screens that it’s kinda needed.

I think they count - at least in the perspective that the headlights integrate into the overall design motif of the car and only become apparent when they’re used.

I feel like I’m seeing more brownish colors coming out, which is a good thing.

The n/a AMG v8s are seriously some of the best sounding engines made.

Exactly - if they think they can get that Money because of BAT, put it there and see if that happens* as Craigslist does not have the BAT tax.

Movie studios usually rent these cars unless it’s a fixture. A 79 Mazda would be an odd “hero” car, especially for 40 grand.
