The Wagoneer isn’t a HD platform and is from the 1500 Ram. Ford has been using the Ecoboost for their Expedition for years now. Don’t get me wrong, I personally like and own a car with the 6.4 Apache Hemi, but the V6 turbo is probably the better investment for Stellantis.

In my opinion, Kia should have kept the amber DRLs but it’s otherwise a solid refresh that follows the “don’t fix what isn’t broken” philosophy.

They have plastic parts that feel cheap, but I don’t think they are particularly unreliable. I have a Scat Pack Charger that has been *knocks on wood* trouble free, which is more than I could say about the Tacoma I had before it with similar age/miles. Plus there are a few racing schools that beat the hell out of

The whole mega yacht (and shadow yacht) concept just seems insane. How many people do they travel with where they need their own cruiseliner fleet.

I’ve had two WRXs before, and MPG was never a high point. That said, the difference between the other Subaru models is going to be 1) transmission programming for the CVT geared towards a performance feel, which is not the case for the Outback or Ascent, and 2) the tires that offer more grip at the expense of

“They don’t make them like they used to...

Exactly. A new scatpack for less than half of this is the way to go. Paying a 50k+ markup for a new, relatively common car is crazy, regardless of the history of the dealership-related embellishments that are added is crazy. Not to mention, this is now a 11 year old pre-dated version of that car.

I think the new Tundra design has grown on me*, so this looks pretty good to me. Not my favorite SUV design, but not objectionable either.

To be fair, the Charger is a comfortable family sedan that just happens to have a great sounding and powerful V8 as an option.

I kind of adore this thing in its condition. That said, I’m not F-it rich, so blowing 18 grand for this thing seems insanely stupid.

That is pretty rad, actually, despite being an unnecessarily complex feature.

There are certain cars people want where the increased market cost isn’t going to be a big enough issue to stop them from buying it. That said, I have a hard time thinking the same for this 12 year old Volvo.

Blue lives matter, or something...

The idea someone would even bother trying to haggle a used Mirage starting at 30K boggles my mind.

A good philosophy with the 944 is to replace all that stuff when you get it, unless you have proof it was recently done. I think this S2 could get cleaned up reasonably well, but it seems to be on the higher end of the range for the work still needed to be done.

For modern cars, yes. I tend to think tint looks out of place on a lot of classic cars. But otherwise I agree, and its been the first mod on the daily drivers.

I think I always liked how the E60 looked, but it certainly has aged well. The 5 series has generally been one of the more consistently good looking BMW, especially now compared to some of the other model offerings, but the E60 was a more bold style compared to the preceding and following generations.

Having the benefit of being an armchair commenter, I would have tried to hang out with another car in those circumstances. Nonetheless, it’s an unfortunate outcome.

I think it’s usually a good idea to have an emergency kit regardless of where you live.

As I sit here thinking about it, I think the ZF 8 speed in my Scatpack is objectively one of the best transmissions I’ve had in a car, including those with a stick or auto. I enjoy driving stick, and have fun cars that are stick for that enjoyment, but the ZF is fantastic. Nothing like the 4 speeds from years ago.
