The people probably have that mindset, but that isn’t what their legislature is doing - they make a lot of terrible laws under the conservative umbrella that is very busy body.

That’s generally the perception, though I have heard horror stories of GMs AFM putting a huge damper on that perception.

I’m not sure if the E36 market is really there yet, at least for this spec of car and its asking price.

California has a release of liability the (prior) owner can complete to avoid that issue.

Given how prices have surged with older, but not yet classic trucks, or even Hummers, I think these trucks will still have an audience.

Thanks! The early e-type is a great pallet cleanser.

I’m not gonna lie, but every time I see pictures of this car, I hate is less and less. I don’t know if it’s just the shock and awe (horror) is wearing out, but I’m starting to be fine with it.

Given how the average police officer is typically more favorable to Fox and OAN-type news, they think that those death rates are sensationalism from liberal news sources. It’s an odd paradox to be in - their fellow ‘blue line’ members are actually suffering from COVID, but they simply are unwilling to believe it.

I think Tom has been able to MSRP. I visited Kia of San Bernardino recently to check out the Telluride - markups ranged from 10,000-15,000, plus the nitrogen air, lo-jack, and the other useless crap you didn’t want.

I know that there are markups on most cars right now, but Kia/Hyundai certainly seem to be notorious for these.

I totally forgot that the X6 debuted right before this and the Honda’s twin. The X6 still looks terrible, IMO.

Agreed. it was the coupe SUV before everyone else started doing it. I dislike these types of cars since I think the looks don’t outweigh the utility compromise. That said, the ZDX has aged a lot better than I thought it would - a coworker has one, and the exterior has grown on me.

That much power and virtually no noise is certainly a new driving experience.

I think there are a few. I took a few photos of one in Southern California (IE) testing a few months back.

The lawyer isn’t actually a problem. All of the alleged events, though, certainly seems suspect.

Better the car than me, though.

Mud-rated tires are good for all adverse roadways/trails. You’ll have lots of fun on a snowy or icy road with your jeep/truck.

To be fair, the window where a truck is better isn’t going to be that big. A 4x4 truck will certainly have better clearance, but a big blizzard can still put down more snow than a stock truck will clear. Even lifted trucks and jeeps with mud tires heading up to the mountains near me aren’t going to do that well.

Agreed.

That is certainly a part of the picture, but does miss out on the other elements. One key element of the significant fire phenomenon is that the areas that are burning end up burning hotter, faster, and at higher elevations than normal. Fuel moisture in many areas in the west are at extremely low levels, allowing such
