Very nice collection! I still have my 914, and my fleet also includes an 86 944 Turbo, a scat pack Charger, and my wife’s Forester XT.

It is! I hope you’re doing well - I’m digging the car collection you have, too.

There are individual elements that I do like, but I think the execution leaves it feeling off.

What is interesting with the brightened image is that the new WRX looks different than the current Impreza - the C pillar design is new. I wonder if we will be seeing an Impreza update/refresh coming soon as well.

I would prefer if there was a Levorg WRX that became available. I had a bugeye WRX sedan and a 2012 WRX hatch. The hatch, while still useful, really didn’t seem that big of a space.

I do agree that the Lexus of the era have aged better looks wise, though I think the X5 has aged the best of these luxury SUVs. That said, the equivalent RX won’t be nearly as rugged as the MB, though I’m not sure anyone will be off-roading this anyways.

Agreed. The sedan does look a bit better due to its proportions, but the functionality of the hatch makes it the more practical choice.

I can’t say I am surprised. The 6.4 Hemi is a good and healthy motor, but definitely at the expense of fuel economy. That said, none of these quasi-performance large luxury SUVs are for those that are concerned about their fuel economy.

He should have went for Ruffles.

For 1989, it would either be a Porsche 911 or a Chevy Blazer 4x4.

Hoffman?

The light colored ceiling certainly does help make the interior feel a bit more airy, but the majority of the cars I have owned with dark interiors had dark ceilings. The only exception is my wife’s Forester, though the WRXs I’ve had were dark.

I assume there will be a manual in a few months, at least with the SI.

Like most modern country music, it’s just about cosplaying “Americana.

I could see the next car we purchase being an EV. I am personally more intrigued by the other options coming out, but the Tesla charging network is much more consistent and usable than the 3rd party providers - watching the Straight Pipes youtube/IG challenges with the electric cars they have been reviewing certainly

The larger chain dealerships are doing well since there is limited enough inventory that they can charge a premium, but where they still have cars on their lot to actually sell. The small local ones look like a ghost town.

I’ve spotted the Rivian testing near me, and even with a camo wrap, I thought it was a good looking truck. I’m certainly excited to see the production cars start hitting the streets.

I prefer the Targa - you can have the top off, windows up, and still have the convertible type experience even in the dead of winter.

Saturn is a great example of the issues happening with GM corporate decisions in the 90s and 2000s. It was a clever idea at the start, but slowly got chipped away, taking away the valuable elements of the brand.

Yes, if you are a millennial or younger you and your entire family will die just by looking at a picture of one. Get over this safety stuff on occasion and ride a little bareback.
