I have a similar scenario. A car like this is pretty much what I need for my day-to-day activities. Will I buy it? No, because emotions and rationality don’t always align.

Which skidplate are you talking about? The gas tank and rear bumper seem fine for dealing with spots that need a good departure angle - you wouldn’t touch the diff at all, and still protect the rear of the Bronco as you drop into a wash or something relatively steep.

How do you like it so far? I’ve been eyeing the new Ram 1500 to replace my Tacoma.

I would actually love to take this to a car show to see what the response is... but $8,000 is way too much for a fun joke.

I like to think my house is regarded the same - I have a 914 and a 944 Turbo.

I actually prefer the wheels - it’s a very subtle nod to the frankenstein conversion when you first see the car. I voted CP because I’d be concerned spending 14 grant for such a car, but it’s certainly unique.

The Mustang might not actually be the reliable one. My coworker has one that had to have the motor rebuilt, and there is apparently a community of other GT350 owners that have had the same issue.

I was a moderator on ClubRSX back when forums were a popular thing and sold my RSX at around 200k miles, so I have a soft spot for these cars. This one appears in great shape and would be one I would pursue if I was in the market.

Even for cars with low levels of depreciation, most people omit the cost of sales tax and other fees when they talk about their hopes of selling their car early. Depending on the state you’re in, that is still a few grand lost for each out-the-door purchase that will not made up with higher-than-average resale value.

If you buy this as a off-road project, the rear diff probably would not be an issue since you would open it up to install lockers anyways.

Rare =/= valuable. It’s an interesting car, but there are too many little red flags for me to want to pay $1,800 for it. That said, it’s probably within the haggling range for NP.

I had a ‘99 Suburban in that exact color combination. It was a POS, but I still want another one.

The 2020 Civic SI MSRP is exactly $25,000, which was the limit specified. The price is technically 900 bucks more with the destination fees added, but the sale price could certainly be negotiated back to a $25,000.

The Accord, or even a Civic SI, would be a good choice.

I see a lot of Teslas living in Southern California, so if they do sell them, I will see these quite a bit, but I am not sure if I would grow tired of it.

Unpopular opinion, but I actually like how it looks. I am not saying that this Tesla is a handsome truck, but the looks are so avant-garde that I cannot help but be captivated by the appearance and think it is pretty rad. I was not planning on attending the LA Auto Show, but I would love to go just to see this thing

I like the idea of the car, as its qualifies as a vintage car but is a bit more offbeat than the usual classic cars one would see.

I like the 4th gen Firebird, but the T tops might be a pain in the PNW. Another good “Pontiac” option would be the 2000's GTO.

BMW has to be trolling us, right? RIGHT?!?

I personally think the early 4th gen rams (2002-2005) was a great looking truck, but the facelift in the mid 2000s with the much bigger headlights looked frumpy to me (that design theme Dodge used at the time, the Durango included, did not look attractive).
