I waffle between disliking the exterior and finding it to be okay (it’s not great, but in some packages looks okay), but no amount of off-road themed graphics would make the interior and the weird center dash/radio screen/HVAC control area look good. It reminds me of Matryoshka dolls opened up, with layers and layers o

He should see a psychologist. Large events like what he experienced certainly provides an opportunity to reevaluate life and one’s priorities, but this is a pretty drastic knee-jerk reaction that may be better managed by working through the help of a 3rd party person qualified to help.

It is a very nice Pantera and certainly worth a premium over others. While it does add value, Shelby’s ownership just isn’t worth the currently listed premium to me.

I have a 16 Tacoma. I think the interior felt and looked better than the GM twins and the Frontier. Even the Ranger’s quasi-edge interior design and materials seems a bit frumpy. It’s not the greatest design, but it does the job well enough, particularly for its segment.

The car is a grand overpriced relative to an “Excellent” third party sale. The car would not be a bad deal *if* you can haggle them down a little bit, but it is not worth the current amount.

Porsche did that on a few cars, including the 914 and 928. I personally like it.

You can get a fridge that has a built in TV, not to mention some of the separate door systems where you can grab a beverage without fully opening the door. I imagine that people “back then” would find that pretty extraordinary. I think your expectation of styled and interesting may be a bit off base to simply suit

Modern cameras can have it enabled, and there are a few jobs where that feature is important. You wouldn’t use that feature for the glitzy photos posted on BAT, but its not a bad idea here since it shows that the photos for a cheap Honda are not a decade old.

Acura’s color and interior configurations have have seemed odd to me for awhile. The brown interior for the RDX (which is lovely) is only available in white or dark silver, but would look better in alot of their other colors.

My parents did take my sister and I in our 914 when we were very little; I was in the middle, and she was in the floorboard infront of my mom in the carseat. I still have the 914, and my wife said that I can never do that to our kid.

I agree, but now David has invited an insurance claims adjuster to officially document that has been totaled.

While going through insurance is usually the right idea, I imagine that in this case, the insurance company is going to declare the Jeep as totaled.

That’s not accurate. The interiors fall apart in the E36, too.

I don’t disagree with you, but my wife prefers the blind spot monitor in the mirror housing over the mirror itself, and made that comment when we bought her most recent car. You can’t please everyone...

4th Gear:

I dislike the incessant subscriptions that have permeated throughout everything.

I honestly forgot which one was which until I looked them up and remembered that the Altima has the amber rear turn signals, which I actually like. I don’t like the amber lenses enough to buy that Nissan, but it’s a design choice that is refreshing to see.

I know that the request is to not have a Jeep, but the correct car is in fact a Jeep. A Wrangler/CJ/older Cherokee is the perfect tow/camping vehicle, and great for any adventure away from camp.

I doubt any supposed “Youtubers” will actually make any money highlighting their ‘first’ real world experiences with the car.

Depends on the dealer. I have seen the markup listed into the lift kit (or other modifications), which essentially equates into a way overpriced modification compared if you were to do it yourself, a markup itemized in addition to the modifications, or just the markup. The first one, as you pointed out, appears the
