If I were to have done the swap, I would have picked the sedan fenders since they have the more aggressive molding. The front clip certainly could have been that they wanted to do a different look, but I would have to agree with the other reactions on the more-likely scenario: car accident occurred, and the standard…
Memory seats are the only time automatic seats are good. My wife has the memory seats in her Forester, so it is easy to readjust. That said, I have a 3rd Gen Tacoma and switching between drivers is still easy and quick to do. I had a Suburban that had an automatic seat (but no memory) before, and the convenience was…
The interior looks really nice, and I think the exterior is the best looking Legacy in over a decade. I also look forward to the Outback update. I actually wish Subaru would do another Legacy XT (GT) wagon so that one could avoid having the extra body cladding that comes on the Outback, but I think the Outback will…
The auto has been fine for my third gen. My experience with each Tacoma gen (I had a 1st gen and now a 3rd, parents had a 2nd) suggests that they have their own unique curve; once you figure it out, you’re fine. A stick is certainly more fun though.
To be fair, the 3.5 did improve mileage over the 4.0. When a vehicle is getting in the teens, each mpg is a notable percentage increase. That said, for those of us with 4x4 trucks (and heavy tires, lifts, etc), mpg isn’t really a core selling point.
I’m sure this is a pretty minor reason, if even that, but I had the barndoor setup on my GMT400 Suburban, and the off center handle always looked funny to me.
Jon Baker’s GMC was a really cool truck.
I agree. If I was looking to get another RSX (which a part of me actually wants to), this is not the one I would get.
The suspension looks like the owner has Skunk2 springs and no rear camber kit. Skunk2 offered the lowest stance of any other lowering springs for the RSX, and were notorious for quickly blowing out the struts and creating an awful ride. If one was looking for an RSX to modify, the first thing I would do is replace the…
To be fair, the leather quality for the RSX was pretty terrible, especially for the 02-04 years.
This calls for the Jesus Saves, but Moses Invests joke.
The MDX is oddly appointed and certainly seems dated in its respective class. I think its upcoming update should be pretty decent though; Acura did a good job with the new RDX and suggests they may be figuring out how to be competitive.
Subaru’s have not made the motors that suffered from headgasket issues in almost a decade; the FA20 for the BRZ/86 is not the same as the NA EJ20 that is known for the problem.
My assumption is that they wrote this ad to get attention because of how over the top it is. I would be surprised if the PO really cared since it is now at a dealer.
Why do you think they went with a 2.2L in the first place?
It’s been awhile since I have been into an Acura, but the new RDX looks really good.
I will just add that Desmond wheels also look great.
Safety ratings alone have not impacted my decisions, but I do research the ratings as part of the decision making process. Luckily the cars my wife and I have been interested in purchasing do well in the crash tests, which has made the decision easier.
All vehicles need to have reflectors in the rear. The differences you are seeing is due to how they want the lights to look. Some integrate the reflector into the taillight design, and some keep it separate in order to better control how the light pattern appears when it is illuminated. The new CRV (and Civic) for…
