I think that comment is spot on. It’s a shame because the story actually has a great introduction, I was super intrigued with the plot the first hour. But they just over explains any mystery it built up.

Alan Wake is a game I want to like more than I do. It has a lot of good idea, but I never got invested in the story. The combat and enemys get so darn repetitious. I think honestly the game would have been better in narrative if it was shorter. It did have great gameplay though.

2 million copies sold worldwide and they still didn’t add multiplayer deathmatch in the third game. DISAPPOINTED!
