Seriously it makes absolutely no fucking sense.

Thumbs. Up.

"When you consider what's at stake here, Sony has to shoulder a lot blame."

I fully agree. I am not happy that I have lost effective use of my primary netflix device for this time period. But it is absurd to blame sony for it (they're the victims here after all) and expect compensation, especially since they do not directly charge you for the use of the service.

The last time I check, I could not find any laws which said consumers have rights to things that do not belong to them. And this is a good thing.

.....? I'm not sure if this is facetious or not. Patriot Act wiretaps have been used numerous times in ways which have 0 to do with national security.

Hey guess what, I understand it perfectly.

......let me see if I understand this correctly. An agent of an organization which claims essentially defacto right to spy on me at any time of their choosing...in any manner of their choosing.....is mad at a private party for determining how they handle information relating to THEIR network?

The lackluster lineup of games and selling point being essentially "ooooooo shiny 3D!" is clearly not the culprit.

I'm surprised this industry still exists to be perfectly honest (given the links above). Then there are the folks who video capture stuff onto youtube as guides. It just makes no sense to actually pay money for them.

My fault entirely, I thought I had typed Hebrew there instead of Greek.

I said nothing original and deserve no credit for it.

...he directly mentioned the Ishtar resurrection story in relation to Christ's resurrection. I only added the etymological origins of Ishtar and Easter for completeness because that is sometimes part of the false conspiracy concerning the supposed similarities between them.

...this old trope again. Really? (sigh)

hahahahaha!

The primary reasoning is completely sound. The fundamental opposition is based on a non-arbitrary definition of property rights, which is impossible to obtain if one holds that non-scarce things can be property.

And the topic of property is only the first chapter or 2! The rest of the book is FAR more interesting.

The whole IP canard of "theft" is misguided for 2 reasons.

"This ends the premium GameFly had to pay in the handling of its mail. How that benefit will be passed on to consumers remains to be seen."

Good, means I can have more fun with the current stuff and the new stuff will be even more powerful, which means that IT will last a long time too.
