My productivity NOOOOOOOO!
Funnily enough, 13th Floor is my favorite film of the three you mentioned.
Ugh. Using stock art isn't being lazy, it's being smart. That's like calling a film studio lazy because they didn't build a custom car for the protagonist, and instead just used a Ford. The problem with that Tali picture isn't that it's based off a photo that anyone can buy, it's that they revealed her face in such a…
I believe it — cats are pretty variable in their behavior/personalities, and as long as this armor isn't restrictive or hurting the throat, there is no danger to the animal. As you say, if the cat didn't like it, there would basically be no way to put the armor on. I have two cats, and I know for sure one of them…
Dogs already have readily available commercial ballistic armor. Not much use for medieval armor equivalents when you can purchase armor with ballistic, stab, and slash protection.
When the aliens come and take over our planet they will do the same to us. :(
Well the mice are ahead of this curve:
Dude...that is like...a new meme waiting to happen.
People are psychos. Glorious, hilarious, psychos
I'm not crazy about his artwork, either, but you should probably note that he's been active in the industry for over a decade at this point. A lot of the similar work you've seen in the past could very well have actually been his work (in addition to game illustration, he's drawn issues of Western video game comics…
You know, you can say sorry a dozen times, and you can say anything you want about this guy...but I am not into the art scene whatsoever, and the second I read this topic title and saw the image, I KNEW instantly "it's the Magna Carta guy." So yeah, it's generic in the sense that it has exaggerated human anatomy and…
You sound really passionate about how deeply average he is. Are you bothered that he has a sizable fan base? Or that someone else finds his work special?
Guessing you aren't an artist? His grasp of anatomy and skill with foreshortening is arguably second to none in the anime industry. The skimpy armour is an issue with anime in general, but he's able to knock out some fantastically exaggerated poses with ease:
but he pretty much popularized this style that a whole bunch of other artists took. I gotta agree with the others, I recognize his work right away, it's okay for you not to like it, but saying its generic (implying its not distinctive) is wrong.
"people around all of Korea fap to his characters."
Sorry but his art style is pretty distinctive. The most noticeable thing is the way he does body proportions especially with females.
His female art is really distinctive. I mean you can tell if it's his art right when you see it.
