Dear Dave Coleman and Mazda USA - please make this happen.  Ford is killing their fun toys, now is your time to show them how steering and zoom zoom is done!

Fiesta ST - done.  One of the most fun cars I’ve ever owned of 25+ cars.  Miata being the only one more fun.  This includes M3's, caymans, golf R’s and the like.

I appreciate the enthusiasm, but come back to me when they offer a manual.  Otherwise MEH

Recaro’s suck at first. After they break in, they’re wonderful.

So Sync 3, torque vectoring, and same HP out of a smaller motor. I’m not sure I see a ton of benefit over the 2016 ST’s? Once the recaro’s break in they’re super awesome and comfortable.

Fiesta ST? Same/similar platform, more turbo?

I would order this color in a heart beat. I suspect these will be rare in the CPO lots though, and I don’t see myself ordering a Porsche anytime soon unfortunately.

My friend and I used to cook hot dogs on the turbo manifold of my 240SX between autocross runs. Probably not the healthiest way to cook but when you’re hungry and don’t have time to go out, it works!

I’m with you. I think 300-400hp is the magic place. I “downgraded” from an e90 M3 back to a mk7 Golf R and am happier with the every day usability.

Golf R + Tune, and miata

If only they made a F31 with a manual trans or a WRX wagon. Or that Golf R wagon we don’t get in the states....

FWIW neither of my car seats fit as well in the e90 as they did in the mk7. Kids (in the car seat) had way less room in the e90 for legs/feet.

agreed. I had a e90 M3, and am back in a mk7 Golf R. It’s just _way_ more practical for family gear/hauling.

AMEN sir, AMEN.

1994 G20 manual 5 speed. It had a 5th gear pop out so about 3 months after owning it I tried to replace the transmission with a LSD 5spd from a G20T. Took all weekend, finally got it ready midnight Sunday. I drove it to and from work through Tuesday afternoon and then the car started to overheat. It turned out the

They’re saying 8% of monthly income to monthly car payment, or 8% of yearly to yearly car expenses. So it’s not quite that terrible. If you make 50k a year you’re looking at 4k a year for payments or $333. Which I think is conservative, but not terrible.

nicely done sir/madam. nicely done

boner

I am waiting for 2017 for hopefully more actual colors and possible removable manual/old school hardtop.

Would you sell an NA miata in order to own one? (Secondary car)
