Counterpoint - Rosewood Metallic is an actual color, so it should by default be above - grey, slightly less grey, darker grey, black, white, also white and so on.

Might also solve that overweight cop issue too. It’s a win-win.
How about we just tell cops to stop idling on the side of the road trying to catch speeders and save gas that way.
That’s probably the most logical reason.
It’s just supply vs demand. The yellow base line stays pretty flat, as supply is always low, but the demand is also low and pretty stable. People that like yellow will continue to buy yellow, because people that buy yellow cars are stubborn and refuse to make better choices.
I disagree about your points on White cars. They look cleaner longer than any other car color. Unless you’re driving through mud or something that is leaving massive steaks of dirt and grim, that white car will look better than any other color.
A new car from a dealer, not very far 100 miles, maybe 200 if it’s a good deal and on the lot ready to go.
Area 51 is horrible, I don’t think anyone who has seen it in person would rank it near the top. It makes the truck look like a cheap plastic toy from a dollar store.
Vehemently disagree with #2 Area 51. The trend of solid colors in general is not a good one, making many cars look like they forget the paint after putting on primer and then just clear-coated over it. On the Maverick, this is very bad in person, it makes the vehicle look cheap in all the wrong ways. It’s a bad color…
Man, it seems like it wasn’t that long ago that I could get a decent and running old Z for $1000 or less. I miss those days and still regret the day I bought a motorcycle instead of a $500 280z that was in much, much better condition than this.
I would love one of those.
An old muscle car with an EV underneath.
Honestly, I love the Stinger, but it came out right after I bought a different car, and I’m not someone that gets a new car every other year, I drive them until the wheels fall off, then keep going a few years and get something else. I will be getting a used Stinger when my current car dies, provided the prices don’t…
That BMW is HIDEOUS! There’s boxy and hard edge and futuristic utility that can all make for great car designs, but the lines/proportions still have to be right. That thing just doesn’t work. It’s like it’s off just enough in enough places that as a whole it looks horrible.
Giving how fragile and brittle plastic car parts get after being exposed to weather overtime, I have ZERO faith in this idea. Sounds like something designed to fail sooner than what it’s replacing. They may not rust, but they might get so brittle that they just turn to dust one day going over a pothole.
Does it really? If so, that would be awesome for them all complete customization of options, but there’s probably some marketing person or accountant saying, “if you force them to buy a package just to get a few options they want, then they have to spend more money.”
The crotch cooler
I totally agree with this. I mean, I get why they don’t do it, because with trim packages, they can just make a bunch of that same trim at the factory, then move to the next batch of a different trim, and so on. With everything being subject to change, it would really up the cost of production, but damn if it wouldn’t…
It’s not going to happen, what with the concerns over mpgs and aerodynamics, but I want to see cars that are designed more for looks than trying to blend in with everyone else and making the least wind resistant rounded brick we can. This was inspired by that opening pick of those tail-fins, we don’t see enough, if…
