As long as someone isn’t trying to pull into the spot on the other side it is totally fine.
Rule of Two was bullshit from the start - see Asajj Ventress. Yeah, yeah, she’s technically not a Sith because it was just Dooku/Tyrannis and Palps, but that’s just semantic bullshit.
I’m firmly of the opinion that while TLJ is a pretty good movie with some things I hate, I would have preferred a pure JJ Abrams trilogy rather than, as someone else posted in response to this story, two movies shouting at another one.
“It’s dumb that they just brought back Palps after not mentioning him in either of the previous movies. Like we’re supposed to believe that he was like just off-screen the entire time.”
This used to be true but isn’t anymore. Deadpool and Black Panther both came out in February.
He was basically a turnaround CEO; there didn’t seem to be much in the way of auto-specific elements to his strategy. “Cut costs and don’t invest in new products for the foreesable future” is about as fundamental as it gets, in any industry.
Gonna say it.
It was doomed... You can’t just create a perception of long term reliability in a couple years, no matter how good your product is.
What, I’ve had my Alfa for a solid 250 miles and absolutely nothing has broken. What are you talking about?!?!
“If you don’t own one, you just don’t get it”
Yep, the one guy in the universe that’s had 0 problems with his Alfa will not tolerate this brand smearing.
Uh oh. That commenter who owns one will come in here and blame you directly for Alfa’s bad reputation.
Let’s be honest here, they’re pieces of shit as well.
Captain Marvel was perfectly mediocre. Not bad. Nothing especially new or exciting either. The main draw was simply that a female superhero headlined her own movie, but it really seemed like they could do a better job with that.
Captain Marvel was in development WELL before Wonder Woman’s release. It absolutely wasn’t a reaction, though WWs success surely made Disney feel more confident about a female led super hero fun.
The key to basing a story around an amnesiac protagonist is for the discovery of their past self to fundamentally change the protagonist. The Bourne trilogy works because it’s about a decent guy who’s profoundly and increasingly disgusted by his past. Carol Danvers, on the other hand, learns she was fighting for the…
I’d say the deal might be same as mine. I was expecting (before the trailers) to see what post-GOTG 2, post-Ragnarok cosmic wackiness would look like. Instead we got a serviceable Phase 1-type movie.
I felt really disappointed by Captain Marvel. There were pockets of inspiration here and there, but overall, the movie was rather forgettable. And the weirdest part is that I can’t put my finger on why I feel that way. Nothing was exactly stand-out bad. It was just “ok”. Maybe that’s what bothered me. For such an…
The hardest thing on an EV’s range is pushing wind for extended periods (Highway driving), and running in the cold. I would imagine that most people go off-roading when it’s somewhat pleasant out. At those temps crawling around at walking pace an EV will go forever. Instant torque, no tranny / clutch to overheat under…
