What I was getting at was they would just take the existing flat six as is and pop it in. No turbocharging involved. Turbo 4 would be cool a-la the XC90 or CX-9.

They’ll probably use the 6 from the higher trim Outbacks. That’s what they did with the Tribeca. Unlikely they’ll develop an entirely new engine for this as they’ve stuck with the same damn engine on the STI for 10 years plus.
