I love our Forester. It’s not the prettiest, fastest, or most luxurious car our there but it’s got personality in spades. You can see out the damn thing, it’s got this awesome panoramic sunroof, and it’s an absolute monster in snow / rough roads which I experience a lot of here in VT.

I drove a 2002 for about a year. Picked it up for about $1500. I made damn sure that everyone knew I drove one!!

It’s the 5 door hatch which never came to the states. Hence the little window you see at the rear. The only hatch we got was the 2 door.

The only thing this car has going for it is the 4 door hatch body style which we never got here in the states. Other than that, it’s just a 900 and RHD at that. I love the 900, it was my first car but you could take that 7k and buy yourself a decent SPG which is the 900 you really want.

It’s in VT being sold by a local dealership about an hour away from me. The dealer is one of my Coworker’s clients. It’s the same one that was brought up from Mexico a few years ago and featured on Jalopnik. Not sure on the legality of it but here in VT the cops have better things to worry about than hot Focuses,…
