Anansi was one of the best parts of the show, if not the best. Was he angry? Fuck yeah. It wouldn’t make sense for this character, the way they portrayed him on the show, to be calm about slavery and racism. This was a stupid move.

For me, Jones (Mr.Nancy), McShane (Odin), and Schreiber (Mad Sweeney) made that show worth watching. Their performances gave real weight to Gaiman’s world.

Orlando Jones is the only reason I watched past the 2nd episode of that mediocre ass show. Oh well, guess I’ll look out for his next project.
