Theory: Baseball is a regional sport because there’s too much damn baseball. The season is 162 games long and each game is 3 hours long, mostly during the spring and summer when people do things. That’s over 20 days of baseball. I can sort of follow one team. ONE. So I’m not going to be watching a Padres/Brewers

The reason I know Mookie Betts is from him winning Chris Paul’s celebrity bowling championship. He’s an excellent bowler.

The cruel thing about baseball players not having much reach beyond regional fanbases is that even a cursory glance at the ASG rosters should show you the INSANE wealth of 25-and-under stud players right now (to go along with your Trouts et al). I don't know where the problem or solution lie, but you definitely can't

The conservatives think that liberals have the same cult like reverence for the Clintons like they do Trump. Even if Trump was caught on camera raping a child they wouldn’t believe it or care — and they think we would do the same with the Clintons.

I’ll take every single piece of that collateral damage for the reasons you mention. Every conservative dipshit is already all, “BUT BILL CLINTON BUT BILL CLINTON!”

There would most likely be collateral damage for Dems — which I wouldn’t mind because child sex trafficking and rape — if the House subpoenad Epstein to discuss his interactions with Trump. But, it would be worth it.

I wasn’t a fan…I was not a fan of his…

Agree. And it creates a rallying point to start from. If all we fight for is equal pay for star athletes and actors, it's a real problem. But it's easier to point to something that already gets people's blood pumping and build off that momentum than it is to cold start empathy for factory workers.

While I see what you’re saying, this is far too good of an opportunity to pass up. I think it’s actually showing that “excellence” is a myth, because even AFTER achieving so much, they are STILL refused pay. If anything, using this as an example quells the stupid idea that somehow it’s all a meritocracy and women just

If you’re the owner/manager/supervisor just go up to the party and say, “I’m sorry, but we won’t be able to serve you.” You don’t have to give them an excuse (therefore giving them fuel for their fire to pretend like they’re suffering the real world effects of actual systemic discrimination), just tell them you won’t

This was undoubtedly the best semi final round ever. Watching them just crush balls was awesome. Joc Pederson hit SIXTY total HR in two rounds and didn't advance.

I know this is an unpopular opinion here in the Kinjaverse, but... Just act like a professional, and treat them as you would any other customer.

That’s what I don’t get. Like...the guy most likely broke the fucking law, doing those “dirty politician!!!” things those idiots vehemently oppose IF THE OTHER SIDE IS DOING IT. But not their guy, no siree.

You could drive through the middle of Florida State’s campus on a Sunday morning and not see a walk of shame as brutal as that one.

It’s always the smuggest assholes who look the most pathetic when they come face to face with protestors.

LOL @ the MAGATs gamely trying to defend him in the replies to those tweets.

Man, every aspect of Duncan Hunter’s life seems to be going up in smoke.

Digging the “Semper Lies” sign. There are so many a-holes who were/are in the military and point to their “service” as a “get out of shame and consequences free” card. Just because you slap on a uniform doesn’t mean you’re Captain America.

I really wish people who do shit like this would participate in the “jump in front of a speeding semi” challenge...

This makes me miss the tide pod challenge. Those people at least hopefully got sick, and insides as fresh as a summer breeze but trade offs are tough sometimes....  This is just going to make a random person sick.
