My big brother’s 56 and hates being lumped in with the Boomers. But then he doesn’t identify as a Gen Xer either. A sort of Lost Generation, I guess.

(Now if I could just get a hold on my sweet tooth... right after all the goddamned Halloween candy is out of the house...)
Somewhat related to the third letter, but really just to share: three months ago I decided to stop drinking alcohol, going off the sauce completely after having considerably slowing down my intake for the first half of the year. I just want to say thank you, Kelsey, for posting this wonderful piece, and joining the fray in the commenting section, and keeping up the good fight, and all of that stuff. Thank you.
You mean except for that one guy, right?
Suuuuuuure.
Nah, two of them are legitimately great. The Great & Good Lakes is a more appropriate name.
I get that. But why not word it that way, and make it about exerting pressure on Morey’s boss to fire him, instead of repeatedly implying that Silver himself could fire Morey?
How would he go about firing someone who, as I understand it, does not actually work for him?
Far as you know.
