While this is true, for journalistic purposes, it’s usually best to use MSRP prices because manufacturers can and do change incentives fairly often, and not all buyers may qualify for all incentives. Also, many of the incentives are just dealers marking down the stock, which will, naturally, vary from dealer to dealer.

And BMW actually argues that nothing should last 5 years. (Not to mention reports that Consumer Reports noted that 12% of new X5s have screens going blank, and displaying content upside down intermittently.) But hey, it’s cool, BMW is bringing the subscription model to heated seats, so at least that’s a win.
