Huh, learn something new every day. It sounded Italian to me. Sorry and thank you for pointing that out

I suspect it will still happen, typical F1 “do what I want or I’ll quit” posturing that happens every season.

These are not FWD but AWD. It doesn’t share much parts under the surface with a normal Corolla.

Does it “fail” when every one they build is sold quickly?“

Toyota is probably the automaker least able to do something about it. They themselves don’t even control distribution to the Southeast US- Southeast Toyota Distributors and Gulf States Toyota Distributors, two entirely separate private companies, do.

I think it’s a good deal. Will wait for the Canadian pricing but it should be fairly competitive against a Golf R and markups are forbidden on this side of the border so.... might be time to replace my GTi...

Seems like a pretty sweet deal in this time of rising prices and inflation; honestly if you can look past the fairly “meh” interior, it’s pretty good value*

Someome named mehmet running as a republican?

as someone from rural PA. he so far doesn’t seem to be getting much traction, but willie hortoning is absolutely a valid strategy, lot of ignorant, racist people here, and credibly weilded, fear of “those criminal black men” is like candy for a lot around here. one potential irony is since oz is turkish, he’s not the

Dukakis lost a 17 point lead in the polls by deciding to run his state as governor instead of campaigning across the country and not make attack ads.

Bush Sr. benefited some from the Horton ads and benefited also from the successful, and likely unfair, attacks on Gary Hart, and then from Dukakis simply being unable to do much in Hart’s stead.

Group the Civic sales and Integra sales together. They are fraternal twins.

It’s worth noting that the Civic, a largely identical car, sold 7,327 units in the same month.

They did sell the Jetta sportwagon briefly with the gti motor. It would need a bit of suspension tuning, but the important parts were there

Here would be my dream wagon which also just sold yesterday on BAT

I know that Cadillac only wants to make SUV’s now, but come on, the CTS-V Wagon was glorious.

The Golf SporstWagen is dead (at least in North America) but it is the perfect size for most families, bigger trunk than most SUV and drive like a sweet Golf.

IIRC there was a GTI wagon variant offered in Europe.

Would you settle for a Gold R Wagon? ;-)

I want a wagon that never was. Volkswagen Golf GTI variant.
