SL points accumulation is kinda irrelevant. There are many ways around it. If a top team wanted him (Marko hinted), they’d get him the SL and the FIA wouldn’t exactly be unwilling to grant it.

The degree to which Fox makes “news” out of social media drama never ceases to amaze me. Day after day, they run articles like this, “Biden slammed for X,” “Harris accused of Y,” and so on, and the content is rarely more than a bunch of hot takes on Twitter from random right-wing chuds.

Although cows are frequently blamed, it’s actually Fox News personalities that are the single greatest source of methane pollution.

But why would they think it was running/idling rather than just parked and off?? I get that some drivers probably idle with engines on to keep A/C or heat running, but that’s pretty obvious via noise and exhaust. Neither of which would have been there. So they just...assumed the worst without checking?

Folks, we’re in the golden age of off-road buffoonery, and I am loving it.

The “63" was actually thrown out the window with the 5.5L twin turbo, not the 4.0L...that came later.

I think ‘High and Dry’ is more consistent, and the high points [“Lady Strange”, “Mirror, Mirror (Look into My Eyes)“, “Let It Go”, “You Got Me Runnin’”] are better than anything on the debut.

Great song.  Great album.  Though High n Dry is my favorite.

Opinions are personal for sure. I don’t have any hate for it being mid-engine. I have hate for it being poorly executed. I don’t think they incorporated the mid-engine very well; especially when it sits next to other mid-engine cars. It really feels like the designers took the least imaginative path towards packaging.

An ex-girlfriend’s father had a mid-life crisis and bought himself a C5 Z06, black on black with the six speed. He let me drive it around the mountains near Asheville and it was sublime. I’m not a Corvette guy, but it was a sweet car for sure.
