Rounding and saying “almost a decade” are one thing. Specifically saying “over a decade” is just incorrect information in this case.

People are apparently DESPERATE to round six to seven years up to a decade. There was an article about the AMG GT being “almost” a decade old when it didn’t come out here until 2015 as a 2016 model.
Not mad per se but it’s literally their job to write these articles. Shows a lack of detail and a lack of effort and a lack of respect for their audience.
Aftermarket will never fail you. One of the first aftermarket parts that come out for cars are exhaust systems. You WILL find an some 2 exit axle back or something.
I’m just happy it actually exists.
It’s now [CURRENT TIME] and still there.
What’s even funnier is that has been up for over 3 hours now and hasn’t been fixed...
It has 273 lb-ft of torque, not 372: https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a39596743/2023-toyota-gr-corolla-revealed/
I wonder if it’s a real exhaust exit since splitting into 3 legs seems pointless
It’s 273 lb-ft of torque, not 372. That would be insane.
It is a 1.6l.
The specs are wrong in this post, it actually has 273 ft-lb of torque. Still very impressive, though.
Very nitpicky, but the one thing I wish was different is the triple exhaust. Hot hatches are supposed to be fun and practical. I would put a hitch receiver on this, or a golf R, not to tow, but to carry bikes. The exhaust will make this sit lower than if it were outboard exhaust like the golf r. While I can easily…
Typo, it is 273 per the fun reveal twitch thing.
Many, many years ago (a few years before the wall fell) I read a book about the USSR that really made the point that they were a paper tiger even back then. To the point that with the rise of modern satellite surveillance tech, we figured out that they had been flat out lying about the populations in their major…
6 spd, turbo, AWD, 300hp hatch, that if anything like the Yaris GR will be essentially a WRC homologation car. What isn’t there to be excited about?
If the styling is anything like recent Toyotas, their marketing people would be wise to hold off on showing any images for as long as possible. Heck, wait until all the pre-orders are booked before letting anyone know what it looks like.
On this weeks Episode of Airplane Repo, Ken Cage and his friends have repossessed 200 of 400 airliners but have recently begun suffering from Novichok poisoning. Hijinks ensue.
Dang it, just give us an MR2, alright?
I find it very hard to get excited about a Corolla. Same with Camry’s. Fine enough cars, but nothing about them says wow to me. More like “That’s a sensible choice.”
