Always a good business decision to sign a contract with a country that may hold you hostage if they don’t get what they want.

I used to work overnight at a CVS (terrible job btw but college cost money) and I’d have chats with the security guard. Essentially all he could do was glare at people trying to steal, call the cops, and file a report with the company. Touching customers with the intent to detain them would probably get him fired. IDK…

Oh, they’re totally truckers, just the kind that are surprised by heavy traffic, complain about driving 2 whole hours, need a convenient bathroom, can just stop working for several weeks straight, and with a few exceptions don’t actually drive semi trucks.

Citizen arrest without a crime actively being committed looks a lot like kidnapping.

It’s very easy to laugh at this, but don’t forget it was a citizen’s arrest gone wrong that got Ahmaud Arbery killed. Some of the Jan. 6 rioters intended to make citizens arrests of Mike Pence, Nancy Pelosi, and various other congresspeople, and if they’d succeeded in doing it, there’s no tell what could have happened.
