Just recently rewatched that bit.

It lives happily in the shadow of the first movie without trying to shake things up too much.

Yeah, this isn't by any stretch a GOOD film series. But damn if they aren't watchable and you build an affinity for the faults.

It's my wife's favorite of the series.

And it’s haunting in the sense it has been living in the heads my wife and I for days.

The second one, for me, was the one that showed where things could go wrong. Too many repeated bits and Myers playing one too many characters.

Thank you for this, Will. And by “this” I mean this and every time your byline ran on a Random Roles. Always knew the interview was in good hands and the subject would be open to telling stories (at least the ones who weren’t disposed to being reticent).

Of course of the mind you can see both. But one’s not going anywhere for a while and the other I can vouch for as deserving all the support it can get while it's still out.

He’s always been the best and worst thing about any of his projects. It’s just the balance of how much he was one vs the other has shifted over time. And now resides squarely in the worst category.

Also, now you’ve got me trapped in a loop thinking about the challenges of making Air Bud where he’s trying to play basketball while rabid. AND Cujo terrorizing a mother and son stranded in a car although he’s really just an affable sports hound.

Yes, but no. Cujo and Air Bud weren’t in theaters at the same time. And if they were, “movie with dog” is as specifically close as those two plots got. This is more of a “Antz and A Bug’s Life” or “Deep Impact and Armageddon” kind of similarity.

Snark first. Ask if it makes sense...later maybe. Likely never. We'll say never.

Not really bagging on this movie. But Everything Everywhere All At Once is out there, has a multiverse storyline and it’s fucking good.

Moral of her story: Dicking around can have good outcomes.

Yeah, looked for him in that scene during a recent rewatch.  Of course, it's easier if you know to keep an eye out for him.
