We went to the parks a lot, knew the tips and tricks to a degree, but tried not to be those people. I think we did well to avoid the rut of “we keep doing this, because it’s what we’ve always done, this is what we do” that helps to keep the faithful returning no matter how downgraded the experience becomes.

Yep, the video did delve into the marketing failure. Jenny had to do a little digging, too, because Disney scrubbed much of the marketing materials from their platforms. She either mentioned that in the video or elsewhere on social media.

Felt. I would have annoyed the piss outta my parents about going if this had come about while I was a kid.

They’ve done a terrible job of catering to returning customers in recent years. My wife and I went frequently during the 2010s, but the nickles and dimes started to add up. We have no plans on going back unless they change their current course.

Oh? By seating herself behind the pole? Is that something she chose to do? It didn’t sound that way.

Had a friend take me to that show about 20 years ago. It’s not particularly good.

Frisco Kid isn’t a very consequential film, but it’s cute and the pairing of Ford and Wilder is great. The best parts of the movie are the two interacting and has left me with quotes embedded in my head for decades.

When these stories hit, I just can’t help but hear static. A several minutes long ovation sounds performative and tedious. They happen every year at Cannes and they tell us nothing about whether the movie is any good.

As many years as this has been happening, why are you such a target for this bullshit? Is it just one vindictive asshole who just won't give it up?
